The Hiking Mat
Sumptuously soft, this mat is perfect for when you need something warm and comfortable to sit on. Great for walking, camping, hiking, picnics, festivals etc.
This handwoven mat is made from 100% sustainable natural fibres and can be easily rolled up, popped in your bag or fastened to your backpack.
The fleece was carefully washed before being pulled into strips and woven on a wool warp. The warp ends were then knotted, bound and hemmed to secure. The finished mat was lightly felted to provide a warm insulating layer between you and the damp and the cold.
The Hiking Mat is available in various sizes.
All my rugs are made in Devon and are 100% wool.
